About Us

Datavend Internet Services (DVIS) is a small business founded in April of 2001. We're considered a nobody on the Internet and our customers like it that way. It may sound deranged from a business standpoint but think for a moment about a web hosting company that does its job and does it well.

The leading cause of neglect, dissatisfaction, lost time and revenues for web developers is the numbers racket exhibited by low cost web hosting giants. Their evocatively small fees and exaggerated resources attract tens of thousands of both good and bad clientele. This practice takes it's toll in the form of hemorrhaging technical support and failure of services.

At DVIS we have a vastly different approach to this quandary. We maintain a small client base and charge a little more money. In doing so we're able to deter undesirable content and activities, provide solid services and support, and ultimately stay true to our customers.

You're not in any danger of becoming just another number when you do business with us.

Our Declaration of Checks and Balances

• All prospective clients and their applications for service will be carefully reviewed and either approved or denied. We have a zero tolerance policy on miscreants.
  
  
• We will never forget, ignore or treat unfairly a client. You have our utmost reciprocated respect.
  
  
• All paying clients will be treated as though they've paid a thousand fold the price.
  
  
• We will carefully scrutinize every technical support request to insure that nothing you've asked for is missed or misunderstood.
  
  
• We will labor feverishly to resolve technical support issues with our services and a complete explanation will be provided on the complaint, cause and possible correction regardless of the end result. We have a zero tolerance policy on propaganda.
  
  
• We will never jeopardize the privacy of our clients. All communications will require proper identification before any aspect of a client or account is discussed in any manner. Yes, we have a privacy policy for that.
  
  
• As sure as the sun will set; we will never jeopardize the security and stability of our network or servers for any reason whatsoever unless:
  
  
  1. It's a verifiable, proven, off-the-shelf, and certified solution.
  2. It's been thoroughly inspected and tested at painfully great lengths.
  3. It meets with our unanimous approval.
     
     
• Clients who activate a new account are entitled to a full refund of the hosting fees for their first billing period excluding any setup and usage charges within 30-days of their account's initial activation.
  
  
• Prorated refunds are provided for all billing periods beyond the initial 30-days of the account's initial activation.

Our Vision of Excellence

DVIS arose from a need for a web hosting provider that could meet serious expectations. The proper balance of technical support, features, service and price coupled with humility and compassion. This type of service is something that is not available to those efforting to make their way in an online world. It simply doesn't exist; or didn't. As the saying goes "If you want something done right, do it yourself"... we did.

We can provide this level of service because we do not engage in paid marketing and advertising. We depend solely on listings with reputable web host search engine providers and word of mouth. More mouth than engine.

Our target market includes the individual Webmaster, small and medium sized businesses and web development firms that don’t mind spending just a little extra to get more than they've actually paid for.

Where We Stand

We're neat, clean and quiet; tucked away in our respective little corner of the global Internet and we don’t make allot of noise to attract attention. Honestly, whatever keeps out the riffraff. Did we mention our policy on that?
